Harlem is the M-E-C-C-A! We partnered with Harlem 2020 to craft Harlem World, a special edition wrap featuring the photography of Harlemite Milton Washington. Milton captured the good FOLKS of Harlem in these streets exploring, worshipping, styling, loving, creating and growing. Milton's portraits make a great gift (stay tuned for Milton's drop here on FOLKUS).
FOLKUS could not resist a collaboration with Harlem 2020; we want any excuse to work with Mr. Harlem, Richard E. Pelzer II better known as "Uncle Richard". Like any great Black uncle, our beloved Uncle Richard is cool and connected. Uncle Richard uses his connections to globally serve as Harlem's chief Ambassador. It is hard to find anyone else that could love Harlem more than Uncle Richard. Richard magnifies the dynamism of Harlem through film and stage productions, entrepreneurship programs and placemaking.
